Sihî-cèfe Fêqê (/e/ /ˈcèfe/ [brown] [jewel; gem; pearl]) is a subtropical Town located in the Qíîsîrêyê Sêpíêto Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Sihî-cèfe Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Sihî-cèfe Fêqê was founded by Erchoril Êgèj, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Sihî-cèfe Fêqê receives an average of 280 cm/y (110 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Sihî-cèfe Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1446 m (4744 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1298, by Erchoril Êgèj. The establishment of Sihî-cèfe Fêqê was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Erchoril Êgèj electing to pay people to resettle in Sihî-cèfe Fêqê.

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sihî-cèfe Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê is buildings folow an organic layout of spacious flagstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Sihî-cèfe Fêqê, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all preforming the same rituals to bless and anoint building,s streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holysymbols is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This town certainly loves its god.

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Sihî-cèfe Fêqê. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is skipped in Sihî-cèfe Fêqê.

The Guardian, Graven near Sihî-cèfe Fêqê are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves bloodletting to channel Transmutation energies of tier 3 via chanting.

In the case of some antique habitation, the denizens that once lived there might be boiling upward as their home is collapsing, or new opportunities may be revealed even as the community’s present structure is ruined.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Sihî-cèfe Fêqê was attacked by savage tribes living nearby Sihî-cèfe Fêqê. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Sihî-cèfe Fêqê lost 194 people, 284 livestock, and 84 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 54, when members of Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's militia enacted an operation to defend a particular spy, and ensure they remain out of enemy hands. The operation was complicated by one of the key objectives in the operation requiring sticking to a very strict and short time table. The conflict ended with a last stand against the enemy until a particular event occurred, which ended in victory for Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Sihî-cèfe Fêqê's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
